Description: An afternoon barbecue at the house of Lara (Kimberley Kates) and Quinn (James wilder) becomes lively and noisy as the game of “Charades” progresses. Barry (Jack Scalia) becomes more aggressive in playing the game and upsets Evan (C Thomas Howell) by trying to seduce his new girlfriend Monica (Erika Eleniak). During the barbecue Targenville (James Russo), a very nasty unfriendly next door neighbour, treats Quinn rudely, causing Barry to react negatively to Targenville. The party is further disturbed when a tow truck appears on the street, ready to tow Tara’s car. The group descends on the tow truck driver (Richard Hillman). An argument ensues and Barry attacks the driver. It’s obvious that Lara’s car has been deliberately moved to cause a problem. The situation becomes somewhat calmer allowing Lara and Barry to have a sexual encounter. Later the telephone rings. It’s Barry calling from Targenville’s house. Quinn and Evan charge over to the next door house where they discover a scene of devastation. Pinned to the wall with a metal poker in his shoulder, is a badly beaten Targenville. Both Quinn and Evan try to stop Barry, however Barry begins to reveal a dark secret about Quinn...A flashback to a kidnapping and murder of a businessman, reveals Barry viewing the crime and Quinn as the murderer. Barry is playing a sadistic game of violence and blackmail. Quinn now exposed, tries to stop Evan, who escapes and runs back to Quinn’s house. Once there it is revealed that Lara, too. Is part of the kidnapping and murder. Through a series of plot twists and turns we discover more of the crime and who is really responsible in this tale of murder, betrayal, seduction and violence.
