There is a "used" stamp  imprinted on the back of the head to protect both the manufacturer and the buyer from dishonest dealers.  In addition to the "used" stamp, the serial number has been partially or fully removed.  Our guitars have generally been refurbished for either slight cosmetic blemishes, minor electronics, or faulty hardware.
