Enterprise sailing dinghy for sale.

This boat has been unused on my sailing club's site for a number of years and is now offered for sail under the Club's 'Abandoned Boats' procedure. It sadly suffering from neglect and will need some work and new parts to make it usable.

The boat is plywood construction, manufactured by Bell Woodworking. The age and history are unknown (ignore the date stated above - eBay insists on a date to accept the ad!), and the sail number is believed to be 19381 (there is no obvious ID number on the hull).

The boat has been stored under a good canvas over-boom cover (included in the sale). However, this has not prevented condensation damaging the decking by penetrating the varnish to the extent that the top veneer is starting to lift in a few places. The cover did, however, prevent the hull from filling with rainwater, so it is in a generally sound condition, although it was recently float-tested and found to leak around the centre-board casing.

The boat comes with mast, boom and centreboard, but no sails or rudder. There are various fittings present, though some may need replacement.

The boat comes with a combi-trailer. This has new road and trolley wheels, but one of the road wheels has a flat (tubeless) tyre, and the wheel bearings are noisy.

Buyer to collect from our north Berkshire club site. Free storage after purchase is offered for a period of one month from the conclusion of the auction, at the buyer's risk, and provided that payment has been made (by PayPal, please), to allow time for you to organise collection.

Alternatively, I may be able to deliver to an address within about 1 hour of Marlow, South Bucks, at additional cost. Ask for a quote. Note that my availability to provide this service is limited to weekends (excluding 21/22 November).
