Engraved Saint Francis - mother earth wooden pen box

 The inscription is in both the original Italian and the English translation and reads:

Laudato si', mi Signore, per sora nostra matre Terra,

Be praised, my Lord, for our sister, mother earth,

                                   Saint Francis of Assisi

and is taken from the Cantico delle Creature (Praise of the Creatures).

This new engraved rosewood box is designed and produced exclusively for The Crystal Bard Shop and is available nowhere else in the world. 

The box measures approximately seven inches long, two inches wide and three-quarters of an inch deep.  It is made in solid rosewood with rounded corners, sturdy hinges and easy opening.  The engraving shows a picture of planet Earth.
