Small FINGER BOWL hand painted c1790

You are bidding on the finger bowl shown in the scans below. It is a very attractive finger bowl with hand painted flowers and other motifs. The colours and shape is typical of English porcelain from the late 18th century and I think that this one may be earlier and possibly c1760-1800. It is unmarked and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs. There are a few minor scratch marks on the surface / glaze on the inside of this small bowl. However, these minor blemishes do not detract from the overall attractive & desirable condition of this piece.

Don’t let it get away – the starting price in no way reflects the value, desirability or rarity of this item. I would estimate this item to be worth around £100.00.

PLEASE NOTE:

I will be listing some other RARE English pottery in the next few weeks.

All of these items came from a North Yorkshire deceased estate sale – they are all from the same collection. As I am not a ceramics expert, I do not know the value of the items I am listing. I am happy to take any available advice! In the meantime, I will be starting WITHOUT reserve at 1 PENNY!

Watch out for my listings over the next few weeks:-

An early & very desirable RARE Bovey Tracey figurine c1780/1790

An extremely rare DATED Delftware barrel shape mug/cup 1637

A very rare English delftware pedestal salt late 17th century / early 18th century

An beautiful unglazed Staffordshire seated CAT figurine c1800

A Ralph Wood figurine (still researching this one!) c1790
