Or left at low tide and wait for the tide to come in and collect again on next low tide. Has a coned entrance that basically allows "shrimps / fish / crabs / lobster etc" to enter and not escape.

You can choose to target "fishing bait" before or even during your fishing trip.
Or even catch your lunch
i.e. edible crab, lobster, shrimps, crayfish and prawns.

BASS find a fresh shrimp / prawn / crab irrestible all of which can be caught in this trap will little effort.

The whole things folds flat so is very easy to carry and stow on any size boat.

I hear some fresh water fishermen have used similar pots to collect live bait for predatory fish.
