Encrusting Xenia Frag

This auction is for the a frag of the encrusting Xenia just like the one in the photograph. This coral spreads over rocks, glass etc in a lace like pattern with the polyps extending from this base. Xenia species are extremely hardy once established and spread quickly to produce beautiful flowing mats. HOWEVER they generally DO NOT travel well (see postage below), hence their old reputation of being difficult to keep.

Corals will be at least double bagged before packing in a cardboard box with a 30+ hour heat pack included in the delivery cost.

Corals will be sent via Royal Mail special delivery, guaranteed before 13:00 on a mutually convenient day.

Although I guarantee that the coral is in excellent health when it leaves me and that it will be well packaged, I have no control over what happens to it during delivery. Therefore delivery is at the buyers own risk or you can collect in person. Due to the difficulty in posting xenia, collection would be preferable but if you do want it delivered I'll contact the winning bidder to discuss postage methods to prevent anyone else leaving silly, unjustified feedback! PLEASE DON'T BID UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT THE RISK INVOLVED WITH POSTAGE.
