Empty Drum Reel for Multicores

This empty multicore/snake drum/reel is the same version that we use on our 28 and 32-Way, 45 meter Drum Mounted Snakes, as well as our 40-Way, 30 Meter version. It can therefore accommodate multicore cable up to and including these sizes and lengths.

For the simple and temporary solution, it can be used for winding a length of cable (or an existing made snake) up for easy transportation and storage. For the permanent and integrated solution, a blank plate is installed on the front of the drum, which XLR connectors can be installed onto, the multicore cable is then soldered straight to these connections, eliminating the need for a separate stage box.

The robust frame has an integrated carry handles and heavy duty lockable wheels, for easy transportation. The frame is constructed from tough steel, with a durable high quality matt black finish. The drum is also lockable in position, this ensures it does not accidentally unwind during operation
