Elf / Eiki 16mm Sound Projector 1960s
This is an ex school machine and has been treated to a new set of belts (purchased from those lovely e bayers e s photographics). I have tested it with the only film I have available, a silent one, and all the functions seem to be fine. The exciter lamp comes on with the projector so there is no reason to suppose the sound has a problem.
I am including a photocopy of the manual for it.
- Voltage: 240
- Cycle 50 Hz
- Lamp 24v 200W
- Amp. OPT 12W
- The film operates at 2 levels of brightness in forward motion.
- Rewinding the film through the gates is straightforward and can also be done with projector light on..
- There is input for external microphone.
- There is input for external speaker - (
current speaker is based in front housing and is connected by jack plug
- supplied & original)
- The speaker has been tested and works (15w Pioneer)
- Fully adjustable front foot.
- Lens is made in Japan by KOWA Super Prominar - 161:1.3/50
- Power cord is connected directly and stored underneath casing
Included with the projector is
one take-up spool, I borrowed the other from a friend to test the machine.
I WOULD MUCH RATHER THIS ITEM WAS COLLECTED IN PERSON, however if you are determined I will post the item out (to mainland UK only),
PLEASE NOTE! There have been some rather unrealistic figures put in for postage in other 16mm projector auctions: This is a
very heavy item, and using the Parcelforce calculator on line and weighing the brute on my bathroom scales (Probably not that exact) it came out at about15 Kilos or around 33 good old English pounds weight. All that added to that will be the weight of good sturdy packing materials, probably another couple of Kilos, adding up to £21.99 by parcelforce 48 hour service. To that I will add a further £5.00 for packing.
PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ACCEPT THESE COSTS OR ARE PREPARED TO COLLECT IN PERSON!
I have just managed to download the hard-to-get full service manual and will print this out for the winning bidder. With this manual you can pretty much totally rebuild one of these! They are the mutt's-nuts.
