Here we have a quite exceptional solid silver PEPPER POT of large form. It is 4.125 inches in height. This lovely pot is in superb order. The design is very attractive. This cracking pepper is of exceptional quality and each is a most impressive piece of table silver. It is made in CHESTER and dates to 1904-refer to image.Year letter D. Makers are top quality makers James Deakin & Sons Ltd. Lid is a good snug fit. It is a ptactical HEAVY GAUGE piece. It weighs a hefty 66 grams (2.12 troy ounces) This piece is unengraved and always have been,definitely no erasures either. A truly beautiful,crisp and most wonderful HIGH QUALITY ANTIQUE pepper pot. Would make a nice Christmas present perhaps? CHESTER assay office closed in 1962. I have listed many other good silver pieces too. PERFECT FOR USE ALL YEAR ROUND,DINE IN REAL STYLE!
