EDDYSTONE S640 COMMUNICATIONS RECEIVER

Selling an Eddystone S640 HF Communications receiver. Built by the Eddystone Company between 1947 - 1949 this 9 valve mains powered receiver covers the frequency range of 1.7 to 31 Mhz in three bandswitched ranges with electrical bandspread. Being offered in an excellent working order and cosmetic appearance - see photo's. Having an IF of 1.6 Mhz and capable of receiving AM, CW and SSB transmissions. A number of new valves, a silicon rectifier and new finger plate have been fitted. The front panel controls comprise: RF gain, BFO, bandset, bandspread, crystal filter, AF gain, phones, mains on/off, HT on/off, crystal phasing, BFO on/off, NL and AVC. Size 43 Cm wide, 26 Cm deep and 23 Cm high. Weight 16 Kgs. The postage quoted is for mainland UK but am willing to dispatch world wide at your cost.
