London label 1957.

Cat No: 45-HL-U.8433.

Triangular centre.

Very rare.

According to the rare record price guide this single is the rarest and most valuable of Eddie Cochran 45's.

This record was among a lot that I won at a local auction so I will describe it as accurately as I can. I am not responsible for the current condition of this record as it is over 50 years old but I have played it twice to check the overall sound.

The following description is based on the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide 2010.

As I have only had this record approx 3 months, I have no idea how often it has been played. The record shows signs of having been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite minor surface marks present which would put it in the EX/VG catagory.

However the label on side 1 shows signs that at some time sellotape was used to hold the triangular centre in place (now secure) and on removing the sellotape brought a small section of the label off just above "The" in the title song (see photo). This doesn't however effect the sound of this record but is something that should be mentioned.

The sleeve shows signs of normal wear and tear with slight staining which would put it in the VG/Good condition.

Polythene sleeve included for protection.
