This 19th Century Japanned Tinware Tea Caddy has a domed lid and is divided into 2 compartments.It has the original lock but unfortunately the key is missing. The Caddy is decorated with patterned Gilt bands and has more gilding around the Keyhole. There is a makers mark on the inside of the lid which is W & S, but I have not been able to identify who this refers.The caddy has scratching and some chipping to the tin from use,the hinge is in good condition.
