On offer here is a fabulous painted shabby chic linen press wardrobe
dating to the late georgian / very early victorian period of the 19th
century.
Made of solid, heavy pine and standing on wonderful ogee bracket
legs that support a deep drawer below upright linen press
section above. The drawer is hand dovetail constructed with
good quality brass handles on embossed escutcheons. The
upright linen press has two full length doors, one having a later
mirror front. Enclosed are a series of fixed linen shelves.
Finished under a flared edge top above and with original back panels in
place. The item dismantles into 2 pieces for ease of movement and
transportation
Condition
Offered in a good, shabby chic distress finished yet totally
solid condition commensurate with age. This item is old so please do
not expect it to be as new. Free of worm and solid in joint.
