Postage & Packing
Postage or shipping costs are non-negotiable. Please check cost of delivery prior to bidding - If you feel delivery is too expensive please DO NOT BID. All items are sent either by specialist antiques courier or via Royal Mail. Royal mail items are always sent recorded or special delivery. We do charge for packing materials and time entailed in packing items over & above delivery costs; this is included in quoted delivery price. Please contact us regarding quotes for overseas shipping.
We accept no liability for damage/loss of goods in the post, but we will give buyers all help necessary in making a claim for compensation against the PO or other carrier. Proof of posting is always obtained and will be kept for one month following delivery. Postage will be discounted for buyers buying more than one item at the same time.
We are happy for customers to collect their purchase at their own liability, or arrange for own courier service to collect, subject to prior arrangement, again we accept no liability for loss or damage incurred as a result of not using our recommended services.
Despatch
All items delivered via Royal Mail will be dispatched within three days of payment being received. Items being sent via courier will be booked within three days of payment - delivery to be confirmed by the couriers with approximate date and time of delivery. Delivery is usually within two weeks. Refunds
Within seven working days of having received the goods the customer has the right to open a dispute and request a refund. Ark Antiques are willing to offer full reimbursement on the price of the item purchased however any cost incurred in the return of the goods must be covered by the customer. Buyers should also be aware that Ark Antiques will not refund any delivery charges. In the instance of a discrepancy please contact us to discuss requirements. We will be happy to offer refunds however we urge buyers to please ensure items are suitable BEFORE BIDDING.
Cancellation of Bids/Purchases
We reserve the right to cancel a bid or purchases from any buyer who arouses suspicion as to their reliability/credibility or who have not read/complied with the terms and condition of sale. We will not enter into communication on this.
