Hi and Welcome to The Dragon Talisman. You'll notice lots of Power Rangers toys for sale but the shop started out by selling a Royal Worcester hand~painted cup and saucer. Collecting Fine Bone China is a hobby of mine and I am on a constant search for quality items to offer my customers.
About the Item:
This Auction is for one Early Royal Albert 'Old Country Roses' pattern Dinner Plate ~ made in England. The backstamp is the original (First Issue) 'Old Country Roses' factory mark and dates this plate between 1962 and 1973. Made in Royal Albert English potteries this original item should not be confused with current production out of Asia [Information: If a Royal Albert maker's mark does not include the word 'ENGLAND' then the piece is made in Asia]. This is a factory 'First' quality item (the backstamp is intact and NOT scratched or scored through which is how Royal Albert identify 'Seconds') and is in excellent previously cherished condition with no chips (there may be some very small 'nibbles' to the foot of the plate but nothing serious), no cracks, and no crazing. Please expect a few cutlery marks. Plate rings true as a bell and the 22k (gold) gilding is bright and lustrous.

The printing of "1962" in the later backstamps refers only to the year of copyright for the Old Country Roses pattern, not to the year of manufacture.
