  • Thanks for looking at this fabulously well worn, used Pewter Hinged Soap tin, dating, I have been reliably informed, from the early 20th century, somewhere between 1905, and 1920. We can't be absolutely sure of the date, as there are no identifying marks on it.
  • It is slightly dented,and well used but it is so solid, that this merely adds to the charm and appeal of this tin.
  • it's a wonderfully tactile piece, with lovely smooth feel.
  • The hinged lid opens and closes perfectly.
  • It measures 8.5cm, by 6.5cm by 3.5cm
  • It really has seen some use, and is in original condition
  • The biggest dent looks as if it was hit by a small bullet !...I wonder if it saved someones life ??!!
