This is a SELOC service manual.  There are only 2 manuals that are any good (actually I think there are only 2 manuals published for the marine industry).

One is the Clymer - this is a good manual with many pictures and sketches.

The other is the Seloc manual - this manual has many pictures and sketches and they walk you step by step through the troubleshooting and repair.

You can also get a service manual as a dealer from the manufacturer, this is not for sale but often winds up being sold.  These are very technical and do not provide any pictures just some sketches (I have these as well if anyone is interested).

I sell the SELOC's in my store.  They are a more expensive book but I really like them the best because they are only marine books, they do not do anything else but marine service manuals.  I feel that they have a better understanding of how to describe a repair and the ways to diagnose it.  They talk you through troubleshooting your engine.  It is very easy to fix any component of any motor (generally speaking).  The problem is what do I fix, my motor does not accelerate or my motor stalls when I step on the gas, well I could fix it if I knew what was wrong.  Well the troubleshooting in the Seloc service manual is very good and descriptive and will help even a non mechanical person figure out what is wrong and how to fix it.
