The Chalet School, situated among the Alpine pastures of the Tirol, has, with its merry throng of girls of all ages, temperaments, and nationalities, become to girl readers a romantic world in itself. A classic children's book of the 1950s.

Light blue cloth boards with navy blue lettering on spine. The front and rear boards have various marks and creases. very minor marks: The spine is intact and firm. The internal pages are intact and in good condition: there is foxing throughout. The dustjacket has many tears, marks and old sellotape marks and there is a bit of the dustjacket missing on the spine (see picture). Unclipped.
