ESP Vintage Plus Distressed Electric Guitar, Rosewood Neck - made in Japan with the utmost care and attention to detail one would expect from ESP.
The Vintage Plus distressed range of guitars from ESP take the "Jap Strat" to new levels with the pin point accuracy of ESP manufacturing they have a created a light relic strat to take on the rest.
The guitar has a solid alder body - a classic strat tone wood which resonates beautifully. This model is the rosewood neck version which has a lovely smooth feel and perhaps aids a slightly more mellow unplugged sound compared to it's maple neck brother.
Featuring the Seymour Duncan SSL-1 Pick Up Set which are an exact replica of the original Alnico V Stratocaster pickups. The same type of magnet wire is used, as well as the same number of coil windings. The staggered rod magnets are hand-ground, then aged by the exclusive Dun-Aged process, lacquered bobbins and cloth-braid hookup wire complete the vintage look. Every detail is included to duplicate the bell-like tone and the high-end bite that made the vintage Strat famous.
The vintage plus distressed guitar features a classic wilkinson vintage style bridge - absolutely cracking trem system. Built like a tank, nothing can go wrong and easy to adjust. Tuners are excellent Japanese Gotoh Magnum Locking units.
The action is nice and low as you'd expect...it's an ESP!! All our guitars get looked over to make sure they play and work correctly before dispatch to make sure you and your guitar get started on the right foot!

TWO-WAY ADJUSTING TRUSS ROD
Most of our instruments are built using a 2-way adjusting truss rod. Unlike a traditional (single-adjusting) truss rod which is still commonly used on many other manufacturers’ instruments, our truss rod is adjustable both clockwise and counter-clockwise. With a single-adjusting truss rod, once you loosen the nut all the way, that is it. You are left with no more adjustment – this can leave your instrument unplayable if the neck cannot be adjusted properly. By using a 2-way truss rod we have eliminated the possibility of that ever happening.
