The LTD EX-260 from ESP is part of the LTD EX Standard series guitar range.
The EX-260 is based on a classic shape with more modern styling. The body is solid mahogany which resonates nicely, aided by the set neck joint.
The guitar features the EMG-ESP LH-300 set pick ups, which also happen to be featured on the Kirk Hammett LTD Signature guitars. The bridge pick up packs plenty of punch for all your heavy rock needs.
This is balanced nicely with the neck pick up which offers access to more rounded distortion and clean tones. The pick ups in this guitar are coil splittable to give even greater sonic variation and access to thinner single coil type sounds and is a great feature for a guitar at this price point.
A characteristic of this body shape is the large amount of wood, in this case, solid Agathis which resonates nicely helps give the guitar a large/full sound. When plugged in to an amp the EX range of guitars sound huge!
This guitar features all the hallmarks of an ESP LTD rock machine. A lovely fast neck, brilliant styling and excellent pick ups all at an attractive price point.

Some of the special features of this ESP LTD Guitar include:
TWO-WAY ADJUSTING TRUSS ROD
Most of our instruments are built using a 2-way adjusting truss rod. Unlike a traditional (single-adjusting) truss rod which is still commonly used on many other manufacturers’ instruments, our truss rod is adjustable both clockwise and counter-clockwise. With a single-adjusting truss rod, once you loosen the nut all the way, that is it. You are left with no more adjustment – this can leave your instrument unplayable if the neck cannot be adjusted properly. By using a 2-way truss rod we have eliminated the possibility of that ever happening.
