Honesty
I endeavour to ensure that all of my listings are honest and truthful, and if I find that when I am packing your order and the item you have purchased is in any way faulty I will not send it, instead I will email you and explain the situation and offer to replace it with a similar item or make an immediate refund ... it's your choice!. I believe that it is important to keep you, the customer, informed and to provide an alternative option rather that letting you down. Also I would never just send it out and say that it was damaged in transit.
Confidentiality
I am fully aware that any purchase made is a contract between you and me, no-one else need know what you have bought!
To make the transaction as private as possible I send everything out well packed in plain padded envelopes with no indication of the contents written on the outside of the envelope. There will be no eBay shop advertising or no rubber stamp advertising; the only thing on the envelope (apart from the postage stamp) will be your name and address printed on a plain label and my name and address on a small return address label.
No-one will ever know the contents of the envelope unless you tell them!
The other thing you will notice is that my 'more personal items' listings are designated ‘Private’, this means that your purchase does not show up on the feedback pages. This is done to foil the unscrupulous sellers who scan the feedback pages with the aim of sending out spam emails and bogus 'Ask a Question' eBay messages. Plus, as I said before, it is totally between you and me what you have bought.
Without question, your privacy is protected at all times and your details, email address and/or purchase details will not be passed on to any third party.

You can return any unopened bottle within 30 days of purchase for a refund ... no questions asked. So if you purchased two bottles from me and, after trying the product you find that it is not working for you (which would indeed be a rare occurrence) you can return the unopened bottle and get your money back for that bottle; i.e. If you bought to bottles for £10 and returned one bottle you would get back £5.
I do not charge a re-stocking fee or a handling fee as I have seen elsewhere!

Lets say that you bought the product and when it arrived through your letter box you decided (for whatever reason) you have changed your mind about using it, return it back to me in its original condition (so it is suitable for resale) and I will refund the price you paid. I have never had this situation arise but the policy is there should the need occur as it is quite possible that, in a change of circumstances you may find that it is no longer advisable to take the chosen product.

I must, in fairness, add that if a product is returned to me I do not re-imburse the cost involved in retuning the product, I only issue a refund for the product cost alone. Thankfully I have never had anyone return a product and, going by the amount of returning buyers, it would seem that everyone is completely satisfied .... I just feel more comfortable having these buyers safeguards in place .... plus I would like you to be one of my 'returning customers'.
I am not a ‘BIG’ seller employing folk to parcel up and send out orders and also to deal with customer enquiries; I am just a single individual trying to do my best to make your purchase transaction as seamless and as speedy as possible and to provide you with a service that you are completely satisfied with ... and a service which I am proud of!

Items will usually be shipped within 2 working days (of receiving cleared payment) and a dispatch notification e-mail will be sent.
UK Buyers: I accept Paypal, Cheques in UK Sterling (GBP/£) or UK Postal Orders (Please make payable to M SHEPPARD)
Overseas Buyers: Paypal only.
Items will be sent by Royal Mail & I always obtain proof of postage. This gives us both a measure of protection in the case of lost or damaged items. Any claim however will not be accepted by Royal Mail until 17 days have passed from the date of posting (sometimes more for international claims).
If your order does not arrive within 10 days please let me know. Sometimes the postal service is unable to deliver your package and on the rare occurance that they are unable to deliver your purchase, please check with your neighbours to see if the package was left with them as it will not go through a normal size letter box and also check at your local sorting office. Please be patient and as soon as Royal Mail confirms that they accept the package is missing I will issue a refund of the amount you paid.
Whenever possible I always advise requesting recorded Signed For shipping insurance option (UK) or Airsure shipping insurance option (Worldwide). If you wish to have the tracked insurance option please message me before you make payment and I will adjust your invoice accordingly (additional 0.75p for UK and £4.50 for rest of the world).
