ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR AUCTIONED UNIT

This EP1690 was manufactured in 2006. It’s one which got left behind in our demo cupboard and has had 694 hours use. The top case has lots of scuff marks. Having said that, this unit has been fully tested and works as new.

This EP1690 is NOT a returned or repaired item. It’s totally original with virtually no use.

Demonstration units spend a major part of their life locked away –

IT MEANS MOST ONLY HAVE A FEW HOURS ON THE CLOCK – making them an excellent purchase.

WARRANTY

Each unit comes with a full Return to Optoma warranty for 1 year on the main unit and 30 days on the lamp. Some sellers reset the lamp hours so you can’t tell the projectors history – be careful.  If during the engineers test the unit has been reset then we will tell you.

General Terms and conditions of sales

Optoma guarantees the description of each item. Where possible Optoma will give you the individual projector history in terms of operating hours. If a unit has been ‘reset’ it has been done as part of an engineering parameter. All units are fully tested before release and will come with all major connection cables. This will include a minimum of VGA & Mains cables. Optoma cannot guarantee each unit will include all minor accessories and we request you check the detailed item description before bidding. Warranty is direct with Optoma Europe Ltd and is 1 year for the main unit and 30 days for the lamp. Any accessories offered in the EBay sale are not under warranty unless expressly mentioned. This includes bags, speakers, disks, cables, batteries. When claiming warranty you will need to refer to the listing name which includes the model name and the last 4 digit number. The warranty commences 5 days after the goods are shipped. All shipping costs for returns to Optoma Europe Ltd are at the cost of the EBay buyer. No units can be accepted for return unless authorised by Optoma Europe Ltd and includes a valid RMA (Returns Authorisation). This number must be quoted in all correspondence and be clearly labelled on the packaging at point of return. As non new units Optoma Europe Ltd cannot replace any sold items and will elect to make a full repair. Optoma Europe Ltd will not repair under warranty any units which are believed to have received physical damage or operating misuse. Optoma Europe Ltd will still undertake to repair such items under a separate quote. Units returned to Optoma Europe Ltd as a result of a repair quote and not paid for within 6 months will be deemed by Optoma Europe Ltd as no longer required and could be destroyed.  Optoma Europe Ltd does not warrant general cables and accessories (inc batteries).
