I have finally decided to disperse my large collection ( 250+) of
mostly prime focal-length M42 screw-thread lenses which I have enjoyed
acquiring over many years. Most are either German or Russian
manufacture, and all lenses to be listed are useable, but it must
be borne in mind that most of these optical instruments are between 20
and 60 years old, and will inevitably have some dust inside them ( they
have all been used and not kept in a vacuum !), and probably some
cleaning/coating marks. However , unless otherwise stated, they will be
fungus- free, and mechanically sound. Cosmetically they will show signs
of light to moderate use but not abuse. All can be used on the millions
of M42 screw-fit Pentaxes, Chinons, Ricohs, Zeniths, Edixas etc., as
well as almost all non-M42 film- based SLRS ever made ( with
appropriate adapter ), and of course newer Digital SLRS ( again with
appropriate adapter . Effective focal length on DSLRS will be
approximately 1.5x the marked focal length, and results on non-film
cameras will vary- remember these lenses were manufactured for use on
film-based cameras , often before computers were in regular use , and
digital cameras had yet to be conceived).

WITH MATCHING CRACKLE-FINISH LENS HOOD, & REAR CAP. MISSING THE FILTER HOLDER WHICH SLIPS INTO THE LENS BODY NEAR THE MOUNT. GLASS CONDITION- GENERALLY UNMARKED, SLIGHT INTERNAL DUST, NO FUNGUS. MECHANICAL CONDITION - GOOD, ALTHOUGH ZOOM ACTION & FOCUS ARE FIRM . WITH SIGNS OF V. LIGHT USE ONLY. OWN A BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED PIECE OF HISTORY, AND BE GRATEFUL THE LATEST MODELS ARE SOMEWHAT LIGHTER !!
