ENID BLYTON Nature Print Birds Plate Eileen Soper No 57

I am offering for auction a superb plate from the Enid Blyton Nature Plates Series drawn by Eileen Soper, circa late 1950s. This is number 57 in the series entitled 'Susan and The Birds.'  The artists signature is in the bottom right hand corner.

The total size is 21 inches (53.3cms) x 17 inches (43.2cms) and the size of the actual illustration is 19 inches (48.2cms) x 15 inches (38cms).

There are pin holes and tape marks in the corners of the border and some faint lines running down the left hand side, otherwise condition is very good.

Photographs form an important part of the description so please examine them carefully.

PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK, which will confirm I always take great care when packaging my items and use good quality packing materials, which includes rigid plastic tubes for Fishing Rods and obtain proof of posting for all items.  Shipping is charged at actual cost, plus a charge of approximately £1.00 to cover handling & packaging.  (Plus extra £3.00 for Fishing Rods)

I will combine shipping for multiple items if practical and give a discount on postage.  Please note that combining heavy items is often not practical and if shipping overseas can be more expensive.

If once items are packaged I find I have over estimated the final postal cost, I may make a partial refund of the postage charge.  I am happy for bidders to collect, providing they do so no later than 5 days after bidding has ended and payment has cleared, or if making cash payment on collection.

UK SALES - Items with a final value less than £39.00 will be sent by Royal Mail First Class Post or Standard Parcels dependent on size.  Items with a final value in excess of £39.00 will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or Parcel Post with extra insurance.  In exceptional circumstances (eg. long fishing rods) I may have to use an alternative carrier.

OVERSEAS SALES:  - Items with a final value less than £39.00 will be sent by Royal Mail Airmail or International Carrier dependent on size and/or weight.  Items with a final value in excess of £39.00 will be sent by Royal Mail International Signed For or International Carrier for larger items.

If an overseas shipping cost has not been listed, it means that the item is either too large and/or too heavy to send by Royal Mail, in which case bidders should contact me for a shipping quote, before bidding.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE

If standard First Class Mail/Airmail is listed and the final value exceeds £39.00, then please note that an additional £3.70 will be added to the shipping invoice to cover additional insurance, in which case UK shipping will be via "Special Delivery" or "Parcel Post" and Overseas "International Signed For."

For security reasons I do not enter into transactions unless they are through EBay.  Returns can only be accepted on faulty items, if reported within 7 days of receipt.  Refunds will be given net of postage and on return of the faulty item or photographic evidence.

We are a small business, buying/selling antiques and collectables, typically dating from the 19th and 20th Century.  I try to ensure we have a good mix of items listed and am always on the lookout for something different. 

I make every effort to correctly identify and describe the condition of items that I sell, but bidders should not rely entirely on my description.  I am happy to answer any questions and email additional photos if requested.

In the interest of fairness to bidders, I am afraid that once an item has bids I will not be willing to make any changes that require me to cancel bids, which includes adding a Buy It Now price.
