A  good used condition hardcover book, with d/w (moderate edgewear; minor bubbling to plastic; minor discolouration) of 295 pages with b&w plates and illustrations. Pages clean and crisp.

A facsimile study with many detailed references. As well as an overview of costume through the ages there are chapters on military, monastic, ecclesiastical, and academic costume: also robeds of the order of chivalry.

Airmail only outside Europe.
