UNUSUAL SHAPE

This is a lovely decorative plate from Empire. It features poppies and there is a gold coloured gilt trim around alternate edges. It measures approximately 10" (25.5cm) x 7 & 1/2" (19cm) in diameter and has the Empirebackstamp on the underside along with the date 12 53 (December 1953).

There are no chips or cracks or restoration, there is some crazing, however this does not detract from display, there are also 3 rubbed areas on the reverse of the dish where the glaze is absent-due to wear I think.

This is a real collectors piece-over 50 years old.

This will make a great gift-or why not treat yourself.
