"The Empire Cruise Official Photo Album" a reproduction on CD-ROM of every page from both versions of the album (Adobe .pdf format for Windows, MAC and other systems.) Over 420 photos.
In 1923-24, HMS Hood and the Special Service Squadron sailed around the world on the Empire Cruise, visiting many ports of call in the countries which had fought together during the First World War. Reproduced on this CD are the pages of the official photograph album, including the variant final pages which were available to the men of the Light Cruiser Squadron. There are many scenes depicted, including the ships and men, local scenes and local people.
