EMI DR4/4 control panel
   

 Up for sale is a rare control panel for a EMI DR4/4, the machine is actually a BTR-2 recorder which the BBC modified into stereo the front control panel was removed and updated for the new style stereo one, a picture of the recorder can be seen on the left. The original machines were so robust that once the BBC went stereo, the recorders showed very little wear even though they had been in service for over 20 years by this point, the BBC decided to modify these recorders as they were very good to edit with and very reliable. I also have a complete amplifier module unit for this recorder, along with a select few other spares which will fit the BTR-2 and the DR4/4

 

These recorders are very rare, spares for these machines are hard to come by, this is the only front control panel I have apart from the one on he machine.
