There is a small library catalogue sticker around the bottom of the spine. Otherwise the outside of the document shows no more than natural ageing and very minor handling wear.

Inside the book is unmarked and apart from mild natural ageing of the paper the contents remain in generally very good, clean condition throughout.

 

FROM THE FOREWORD

"This supplement to the IP Petroleum Pipelines Code 1967 edition has been prepared by the Institute of Petroleum in collaboration with The Oil and Water Industries Working Group with the object of detailing emergency procedures to be adopted in the event of leakage from or fracture of petroleum pipelines.

In view of the current importance of these recommendations in preventing water pollution, this Supplement has been published separately, the recommendations will, however, be embodied as a separate chapter 10 in future editions of the IP Pipelines Code."
