WED clay is popular in the movie and effects industry for creating large detailed sculptures. WED clay is a part water based clay, but dries more slowly and has some qualities similar to oil based clay. WED clay can be kept moist for months if the sculpture is kept in a plastic bag, or under a wet towel, although WED clay is not considered reusable like pure oil based clays.
