Just like Grand-ma used to have – a superb Elliott Art Deco Westminster Chiming Mantle Clock which is keeping good time and is in good overall condition.

It has a square Cream coloured dial marked, Mallory, Bath and signed “An Elliott Clock”. It has a silvered Chapter ring with Black Roman Numerals and black ornate hands. It has a square chrome bezel with flat glass. It has a Chime/Silent lever adjacent to the III.

It has a heavy and excellent quality movement signed Elliott, London and chimes the Westminster Chimes on 5 underslung gongs. Unfortunately the chime and strike are not working. I think part of the mechanism is caught and it could free itself during shipping. If not, I am sure it would be a simple fix for one of you clock doctors out there and then you would have an excellent quality clock. It has a very substantial heavy good quality English Movement with thick plates. It measures 9 ” high, 12” wide and 5“ deep.

This clock has been running well and keeping good time in my workshop for 3 weeks. You are welcome to come and see it going if you wish.
