This 2 inch diameter open face, military issue, Elgin, pocket watch is in fine condition and good working order.

The black luminous dial is signed

With white minute track, white sub seconds dial, white second’s hand, and chrome and luminous hour and minute hands, (some luminous missing from minute hand.
All Arabic hour numerals are also luminous and are complete and intact.

The three piece nickel case with screw on back and bezel is serial numbered to the back and side of the case.

The slightly domed bevel edge glass is unmarked.

The high grade 7 jewel tough and durable, military issue movement is fitted with a top quality, cut bi-metallic compensated balance that is fitted with a Breguet style over coil balance spring, for greater accuracy. The movement is in good working order and is keeping very good time.
The winding button has good deep serations and winds and sets the watch to time smoothly.

The watch comes supplied in a brand new good quality hard shell leatherette covered, lined and padded storage/presentation/display case.
