Cast from an original in an Oxford collection, this neat little axe has the advantages of thickening to the mid-blade, and cast-in flanges to achieve a better haft fixing. This pattern proved its worth when the late Nick Wright used it to do all of the carpentry in the construction of the large Trewortha roundhouse.
