HELLO, and welcome to our auction for a 6" x 4" colour photograph of a Leyland National 2 single deck bus in the colours of Hardwicks of Scarborough. Hardwicks were originally a subsidiary of the Leeds based motor retailer and coach operator Wallace Arnold, and operated routes to the west of Scarborough. This particular vehicle is registered NAT 202V and carries fleet no. 202. It is in the ownership of East Yorkshire Motor Services who bought the Scarborough operations of the United Automobile services, and also operated the Scarborough Skipper series of local mini-bus services in the town.
