This is an Early 20th. Century, Large Tripod, in a rich red mahogany, and very solid, suitable for mounting a Theodolite or Telescope on it.

There is a hole, brass rimmed, on each leg, where I presume a securing chain, or stay would have once been to steady the legs.

It stands four foot seven inches high (approximately), but could be higher or lower, depending on how far apart the legs are splayed.

This parcel will be delivered by DHL, tracked and signed for (within the U.K. - outside of the U.K. will be more expensive, so please ask for a quote before committing to buy!).  This is because of it's size, and not it's weight.  If preferred, you are welcome to collect.
