This is a very nice coloured vintage postcard with social, glamour and military interest from the First World War period.

It shows a young woman showing her stocking tops, lounging on a sofa, surrounded by toys, including a golliwog, and holding a teddy bear to which she is saying; " I wish you were a soldier, Teddy!".

Published in the Valentines series, Card No 4194.

The card has not been postally used.

It is in very good condition for its age, with just some minor scuffing on the corners.
