SIGNING FOR THE GOODS AND DAMAGE CLAIMS
Damage to goods in transit is very rare, however, please read carefully the following together with the section on 'Extra Insurance' and General Delivery.
By following these directions you ensure that in the unlikely event your item is damaged by the couriers we will be able to speedily process the claim.
PLEASE CHECK THAT THE GOODS ARE UNDAMAGED BEFORE YOU SIGN, THAT MEANS THE CONTENTS NOT THE BOX.
IF THE DRIVER IS ADAMANT THAT YOU DO NOT OPEN THE BOX THEN SIMPLY SIGN THAT IT IS 'DAMAGED', DO NOT SIGN 'UNCHECKED'.
Damage in transit claims can only be made if
1) the delivery note has been signed 'DAMAGED' next to signature.
2) We have been informed of the damage within 24 hours of the delivery.
Unfortunately there are no exceptions to this as the couriers will not process a claim for damage in transit unless the item is signed for as damaged.
'Unchecked' is not sufficient.
Extra Delivery Insurance
We have arranged an extra delivery insurance whereby you have up to 7 days to report any damage to us and claims can be made even if the item is not signed for as damaged, although it is always preferable to do so.
This is useful if you will not be present at the time of delivery and will therefore be unable to check whether there is any damage.
For claims to be processed the insurance premium must be paid before the item is dispatched and any damage must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt of the parcel.
The extra delivery insurance is available as an option when you go to the eBay checkout to pay for your item.
GENERAL DELIVERY
If the courier has attempted to deliver your item and has left a card you must contact the courier direct.
If the delivery is refused for any reason then you will be liable both for the original delivery and the subsequent return costs.

Returns accepted with 7 days of receipt. We must be contacted via ebay message system beforehand to issue an RMA number and the correct returns procedure and address. Buyer is responsible for the costs and safe return of goods in a perfect, unused, unopened, undamaged resaleable condition. Postage costs will not be refunded. Items not conforming to the correct returns procedure will be refused.
