E LEITZ WETZLAR LEICA 90mm f4 ELMAR-C LENS - M BAYONET FITTING FOR LEICA CL.  

Compact 90mm f4 lens originally made for the Leica CL camera. The lens was introduced in 1973, and offers excellent performance in a small neat package.  Having the Leica M Bayonet, this lens can be used on all M cameras, but the focus cam is steeper than regular Leica M lenses, as the ring only turns through 120 degrees from infinity to the close focus point of 1m. Condition is very good - lens barrel has one or two very small/light marks commensurate with normal use and the glass is clear and clean - no scratches or fungus. Ser No 2570886 indicates 1973 as the year of manufacture, and the lens was Made in Germany. Comes complete with rear cap and rubber hood. The hood is in good condition and the rubber has no cracks or tears.
