This vacuum cleaner is a DC04 model in green and
silver. This is an upright vacuum with a separate hose for stairs, corners,
etc. It has done great service for the past several years and I guess it was
around £2-300 when new. It has always been very powerful and had great suction
until it broke :-(
The vacuum worked fine until a few weeks ago, when it
developed a fault.
It works fine for around 5 mins and then cuts out. I
have stripped and cleaned the parts that I can get to but the fault is still
there. I don’t know what the problem is but maybe it is the motor that has worn
out?
This vacuum is being sold for spares or repair, if you
fancy having a go at repairing it.
It is missing the attachments and the vacuum has signs
of scrapes and scuffs, aswell as some of the plastic underneath being broken,
so it has definitely seen some action!
