Duplo DBM-200 Folder Sticher Booklet Maker + DC-48T Trimmer In Good Working order

One of the principal features of the DBM200 dynamic booklet maker is a fully automatic set-up and size change system which, at the touch of a button, adjusts stitching heads, fold plates and end stops, all in less than a minute. As a result the size of the booklet being produced can be changed in seconds and perfect copies produced at the first pass. Removing the need for any manual adjustments also significantly reduces set-up times to give increased productivity, whilst also reducing the operator skill required.

A touch sensitive control panel allows the operator to select from one of the four pre-set standard applications: A4 saddle stitch; A4 side stitch; A3 saddle stitch; and A3 side stitch. A further four memory settings are available when the machine is running a non-standard sheet size. The sheet dimensions are keyed in and the operator selects the desired option from saddle, side and corner stitch or fold on the control panel.

The DBM200 can handle a wide range of stock from 140x120mm in side stitch format up to 350x500 mm in saddle stitching applications. At full production speeds up to 3,600 booklets can be produced in an hour, making the system the most productive on the market.

The DBM200 offers outstanding results when used in conjunction with the high volume Duplo collators, including the DC10000S, DC8000S and DC4800. It is truly a high-speed bookletmaking solution for the commercial printer, with the advantages of automatic adjustments and tool-less make ready traditionally associated with high-speed electronic printers and copiers. The system handles a wider range of sheet sizes than its predecessor - and at higher speeds - and the combination of stitching and folding functions into a single unit means that the system takes up even less space than previous models.

In addition to having a broad appeal to commercial printing companies and inplant departments operating one or more offset presses, the DBM200 also provides unrivalled productivity when linked to modern electronic printers such as the Xerox DocuTech and DocuPrint machines, and the Siemens Nixdorf 2075 model.

The features of the DBM200 are ideal for this environment where operators are not used to dealing with machine tools in changing sizes and making other adjustments. In fact the addition to a DBM200 to an electronic printing system provides a highly productive, cost effective alternative to offset printing, especially on shorter runs.

the DC48T trimmer provides a clean foredge trim, whereas the new DC20T trimmer can be used with the DBM100 system.
