Motor Cycle International.
August 1994.
Motor Cycle International was always my favourite amongst the bike magazines. Unlike Performance Bikes or SuperBikes it tended towards the serious side of motorcycling, and was possibly all the more informative for that. I'd read the light hearted magazines for a bit of fun, but if I actually wanted to know about a particular bike - how it went and handled - then International was the magazine of choice. If this sounds a bit square, a bit boring, well - no! The magazine just told it as it saw it, and I loved it for that reason. It'll take me ages to list these, as I will be reading them all over again!
This particular issue, for your interest and enjoyment, has articles on:
- GTS1000.
- Honda RC45 v. Ducati 916.
- Ducati M600 Monster.
- Honda CB750 from Team Ikuzawa.
- Koichi Ohtani.
- Earplugs....
...and don't forget the period advertisements and classified section. Often this part of the magazine is worth the cover price alone!
Note that I have over 1,000 magazines listed in my eBay shop. To find these, click on the shop icon. Then, in the little search box down to the left simply type in the detail you are interested in. Manufacturer, car, motorcycle, person, event or even registration number - be creative!

Please note that these are all my own magazines that I have collected over the years. I buy around 20 a month, and have done so for almost three decades. In addition I also bulk buy at car boot sales, so I've thousands upon thousands of magazines in the house. All I'm doing now is thinning my collection down a little. Hence all of the magazines are in used, but good condition. I run older cars as a hobby, and from time-to-time buy a motorbike for fun. My last bike was a new Suzuki Bandit 600 that I put 50,000 miles on in under 5 years. At the moment my car is an old Volvo - cheaper than the train!
Post: I try and be as fair as possible with postage rates. But these days postage outside of Europe is very high, so I cannot do anything to cheapen these rates unfortunately. Most of my magazines go out double wrapped for protection, so they arrive in good condition. If you want to buy more than one, feel free - but ignore the auto-invoice as I will combine shipping for all multiple purchases.
I do not accept IBAN / International Bank Transfer as a means of payment. And, I hate to say this, but for German buyers I will block all e-mails that originate outside of eBay - I do not like the spam e-mails that follow on!
