ABOUT US
We are Lesley and Loren, a mother and daughter team of professional restorers.
Our courses are informal, friendly and fun! Restoration is a fantastic and fascinating area to become involved in, especially if you're a collector, and we're sure that you'll thoroughly enjoy all aspects of the course. We love what we do, and we hope that you will too.
THE CLASSES
If you live within easy travelling distance of Southport, we offer one, or even half day, classes where you can learn to restore ceramics or work through the restoration of a favourite damaged piece at your own pace.
We will work with you on restoring the pieces you bring, or can work out a "syllabus" to enable you to learn across as wide a spectrum as you wish,in as much depth as you choose.
We generally hold these "locals" classes on 2 days a week except in weeks when we have courses running.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
The cost of the course includes all the materials and equipment you will use, a comprehensive set of notes, a light lunch each day and a continual supply of tea, coffee and biscuits!
HOW LONG IS A ClLASS?
The classes run from approx. 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday and Tuesday, and you can attend for full or part days. We say "approx." as the courses are quite informal, and no-one is going to get told off for arriving 10 minutes late! Also, we can almost guarantee that at the end of the afternoon you'll be in the middle of something which just can't be left, but you won't be asked to leave just because the clock says 4:30.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
A full day costs £80, which includes all material and equipment used on the course and a light lunch. Part days are charged at a pro-rata rate.

The classes are strictly limited to a maximum of 6 students, and with 2 of us available at all times you are assured of all the personal tuition and help you need.
