Cleaning

Use this powder as a mild abrasive to clean cooker tops, sinks and tiles. Sprinkle directly onto the surface and wipe over with a damp sponge or cloth. For extra cleaning power, mix with Borax Substitute and Cooking Salt in equal quantities and add a small amount of water to make a paste. Apply to the surface then wipe off. 

Deodorising 

Deodorise carpets by sprinkling Bicarbonate of Soda and leave for at least an hour, (preferably overnight), then vacuum to leave fresh smelling and perfume free. Always test colourfastness before use.To deodorise fridges, simply remove the top of the packet and place at the back of the fridge. When the odour starts to return, replace the packet. Empty the spent packet into plug holes or drains followed by hot water to keep them clean. Bicarbonate of Soda can also be used to reduce smells in bins and litter trays. Or deodorise rubber gloves by putting a teaspoon full in each glove, then hold the cuff and shake well. Leave in for a few minutes and then pour the bicarb in the sink.

Sinks

Pour two or three tablespoons of Bicarbonate of Soda followed by and equal amount of White Vinegar* down plug holes to keep sinks and baths clean and odour free. The fizzing action will help to remove built up debris. Flush with hot water ater ten minutes.
