This Owl is slightly larger than the original Dragonstone Owl, and is part of the Wildlife Range. His right foot is standing on the plinth and his left foot is resting on a log. The Artist has beautifully reproduced the layering of the feathers down his back, wings and tail, as well as around his eyes and beak. He would make a lovely adornment to any home or garden, especially if placed high up on a pillar or gate-post etc. The plinth bears the Manufacturer’s copyright mark (HGC) and Artist’s initials (SR). The Large Owl has a height of 30cm, a width of 17cm, a depth of 19cm and a weight of 7kg.
This antiqued ornamental stoneware Owl has been designed, sculptured and stone-cast entirely in the South of England, by DragonStone ornamental stoneware in Hampshire, from where we obtain the items directly. It is a genuine, original, copyrighted design, bearing the artist's initials, and copyright mark. DragonStone Stoneware is an especially high quality, British product. It is made of solid stone, is neither hollow nor resin and it is definitely NOT an imitation or remould as can sometimes be found in markets etc. We are confident that you will find DragonStone stoneware by far superior to other similar products that are available. The pieces are made from a sandy-grey stone, which is finally given an antiqued finish. So, although all stoneware supplied is brand new, it has an attractive 'aged' appearance. Because of this manufacturing process and the natural products used, each piece does vary slightly in colour. The Owl is one of a wide range of animals - cats, dogs, pigs, wildlife, and bears etc. - also made by DragonStone that are available in our eBay shop.
This statue like all the Dragonstone statues in our shop can be painted. Using an exterior stone/masonry paint would probably be best if the statue is kept outside.

The postage is £16.99 for Northern Ireland.
The postage is £16.99 for the Scottish Highlands & Islands (AB37, DD8-10, PH10-11, PH17-PH44, PH49, PH50. PA20 - PA88. KA27 AND KA28. ALL IV, KW, ZE AND HS POSTCODES) and the Isle of Wight.
The postage is £26.99 for the Isle of Man.
The postage for the Channel Islands starts from £21.99.
The postage charge is cost price only, we do not make money from the postage. The box and bubblewrap costs come from the statue price. With packaging the weight of the statue will increase by around 3kg. The postage is the lowest price we can find for the weight of the parcel.
Any customers who wish to collect their statues are free to do so, just email us after purchase so we can alter the postage costs on the invoice.
The statue can be picked up from either East Wittering or Cobham.
Free delivery is available to any customers within the Chichester, Witterings, Selsey, Cobham, Woking, Weybridge, Esher and Walton areas.
****Multiple Item Postage****
If you buy more than one statue from us the postage is £7.00 for the 1st statue and £1.50 for the 2nd statue. This is only for statues that are available under the multiple postage offer, so is mainly the smaller statues.
All orders are dispatched on a 24hr delivery service with DHL, although it is not a guaranteed 24hr service most statues arrive the next day. The couriers operate a signature on delivery system, so if there is a possibility that you will not be at home, please try to give a date that you will be there. The parcel can also be delivered to another address, either a neighbour, friend or workplace if you are usually not at home in the daytime. If the statue is a present and you would prefer not to have our invoice sent with the parcel please let us know.
