This is a collection of 2 copper plate engravings, with biographical text, which were taken from a disbound edition of 'The Biographical Magazine.'

Engraved: Holl

Titles (left to right): "Dr. William Harvey" and "Dr. Darwin"

These were printed in London for 'Effingham, Wilson, and Sherwood, Neely, & Jones' in 1819.

The overall size of each is approx, 140 x 235 mm.

The edges and corners of each print are generally a little chipped and browned with age. The paper suffers from a little light foxing (small brown spots) however this does not affect the images. These slight imperfections mainly affect the blank margins, so should not be too noticeable once framed.

Below each image, is a short piece of biographical text.

Doctor Erasmus Darwin was Charles Darwin's Grandfather.

These are interesting items, which are crisp, clean and in good condition. They will look very good when mounted and framed.

These will be sent rolled, in a rigid tube.
