Double decker bus converted for youth project / camper

Converted Double Decker Bus.

11 metres long, about as long a double decker as you can get and the stairs really well positioned to give excellent working space both uptairs and down.  Been used by our Charity as a mobile youth project for last 30 months and has had £20,000 invested into it.

Down stairs has store cupboard under the stair well that could easily convert to toilet, a bar counter on the passenger side of the bus with some bench seating and aircon / heating unit that keeps the place relatively cool / warm.  Lift up counter into kitchen area.  Kitchen area has large fridge, electric cooker, toaster and sink area ( no water or waste plumbed in yet)  Loads of storage space in locking cupboards, lino floor.  Loads of main plugs for appliances.  Head space down stairs in good for 5ft 11".

Upstairs is basically open plan.  At the front of the bus there are ground level bench seats are based around 2 built in flat screen TV's with a playstation and gameboy.  The rear area has ground level bench seats focused around a 32" flat screen TV and DVD system.  Loads of space to add couple of seperate bedroom areas, head hieght at about 5ft 6".  Upstairs also has air con / heating and also all round blinds in excellent condition, keep place cool enough even on hot days and no glare for TV screens / great for sleeping.  Extra electric points in good locations for fans, chargers etc.  Would be very easy to remove all seats and add beds.  Enough room for at least 12 bed spaces, more if you went for bunks. 

Upstairs, downstairs and entrance all covered by recordable CCTV system with vandal proof dome cameras.

Mechnically -  It always starts and goes fairly well for a big old bus.  42mph is the best I have clocked before the speedo broke!!!  body work is OK with ally body panels, a few war wounds of cracked fibre glass and dents on the bottom skirts.  Interesting logos will come off with airdryer but would take a while.  Uses hardly any oil or water.  Passed last 2 MOT's without a single problem and no advises.  Only problem is that 3rd gear insn't engaging at the moment and not sure why as we have had the gear box refurbished.  We simply use the semi auto box to go from 2 to 4 and that is fine.

Power cable for campsites / connecting to generator is in place with a re-enforce cable with a 30 metre reach and circular 3 pin socket.  We have used an external diesel generator for power which we tow along behind the bus.  It powers everything with easy and runs on Red fuel so cheap (this generator is NOT inlcuded in the sale but maybe for sale at about £1650)

Loads of potential for youth project / play bus / mobile cafe / an awesome camper van or even to live in - its big enough.

Plenty of MOT & TAX - Drive on a car licence and fairly easy if you are a confident driver.
