Large Old Sheffield Plate ribbed food dome with an ornate removable handle in a floral and foliage pattern by J. Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, England marked "D*S" for 1835.  The sterling silver insert panel is unused with no monogram or heraldry.  Measures 18" by 12" and 11" high to top of handle.  Very good condition; four small dings.
