Discover the secrets of The Manchester Museum and go behind the scenes with the expert of your choice. The Manchester Museum's extensive collection includes Darwin's finch, rare Amazonian frogs and treasures from Ancient Egypt. This is a unique opportunity to see objects and parts of the Museum not normally seen by the general public and be guided by one of our resident experts.

This is a General Collections Behind the scenes lot for up to 4 people.
Duration: Single day

At The Manchester Museum, part of The University of Manchester, you can discover the natural wonders of the world and the diverse range of cultures it is home to. The objects in the Museum's 15 galleries tell the story of the past, present and future of our planet. Come face to face with live Poison Dart frogs, fossils of pre-historic creatures and much more besides.

Terms and Conditions:
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

The winner is responsible for the arrangement and cost of travel.

The lot will be taken no later than 12 months after the end of the auction on a day and at a time to be arranged between the winner and the Manchester Museum.

This lot cannot be publicly resold without the permission of TopLots but can be offered as a gift.

The TopLots Heritage Auction is a fundraising event organised by the Association of Independent Museums (Registered Charity: 1082215) acting as the agent for arts and heritage organisations across the UK. Delivery of this lot, as described, to the winner is the responsibility of the Manchester Museum which will receive (after direct transaction and listing costs) 80% of the winning bid. The remaining 20% is retained by the Association of Independent Museums (AIM) to cover the administrative costs of running the TopLots auction.
