Why this print is so collectable

Disco in a Galaxy Far Far Away is a stunning etching hand printed by the artist. The image incorporates a film still from 'Saturday Night Fever', leaving traces of John Travolta's arm visible in the background. The edition number of 177 relates to the release of the first film 'Star Wars' in 1977. Trafford Parsons loves to take inspiration from popular culture. Be it 1970's icons in his Storm Trooper etchings, or Sci Fi monsters attacking London landmarks in his Gaia series of screen prints. Trafford is a well known James Bond buff and pays homage to this in his Blofeld's cat print. Not only a print artist, Trafford has worked as a DJ as well as being involved in a range of performance arts.
